Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Riverside, California. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly of transformers, wiring, and conduit, as well as inspecting assemblies to ensure they meet design specifications.

Job Details

In this role, you will be involved in mechanical assembly tasks, repairs, materials retrieval, and maintaining organized tools. You will work in shifts including 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with training provided on the 1st shift (7am-3pm) for 3 weeks to 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of transformers, wiring, and conduit.
  • Conduct repairs on units, parts, and materials.
  • Retrieve materials from storage for assembly.
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure they conform to designs.
  • Keep tools organized and maintain maintenance work orders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience with basic hand and power tools.
  • 2+ years of blueprint reading experience.
  • Experience with cranes is preferred but not required.
